  1. All of these memes relate to my topic and target audience. They all apply to people who enjoy soccer and are willing to get a bigger understanding of the sport. The memes can be enjoyed by anyone as long as they know a little bit of context. These memes are from within the last few years and are still relevant to this day.
  2. Each meme has its own ideal. An ideal of a meme is “the concept of idea conveyed”(Davidson, 123). The first meme is wishing everyone happy 2017 on New Year’s Day in 2017. This meme was used to showcase the scoreline of the World Cup Semi Final game between the two teams in which Germany humiliated Brazil 7-1 on their own home soil. The next meme talks about how Tim Howard could save anything even an asteroid heading for earth. This was because of his record breaking performance in the world cup which saw him make 15 saves against Belgium. The next meme is about the different types of headaches we can go through but the biggest one of all would be supporting the team Arsenal. They bring their fans a ton of disappointment and their decisions are often met with severe headaches.
  3. The Origins of my memes are from social media platforms and spread through there as well. The most notable are facebook and twitter. The memes are created there and are reposted, liked, favorited, and retweeted.
  4. The manifestation of my memes come from soccer and can be applied outside of it as well. They also bring in outside memes to apply to soccer. The first one takes the scoreline of a soccer game to apply it to a date. The next meme talks about how a goalie making saves in a game can end up saving the world. The last meme brings in a meme that is meant to talk about headaches, to talk about headaches a soccer team gives its fans.
  5. The manifestation of my memes greatly appeal to my target audience. My memes much like the game of soccer, are easy to learn, understand, and laugh to. They can be enjoyed by all without having to do much thinking.
