Throughout the process of creating my own blog I have realized that this is something I want to do on my own going forward. There were many memorable projects and assignments I did throughout the course that I thoroughly enjoyed. I learned how to use some programs that I can see being beneficial to me in the future. One of the assignments I enjoyed the most was the screenomatic project. I liked the process of screenrecording on my laptop and essentially walking my viewers through my topic. I liked learning more about something I knew a lot about and teaching it to the rest of the world. I liked that for much of the assignments it was about what I was interested and I was able to talk about what I wanted because it was my blog. When students are able to do something they enjoy and are passionate in, they will put more effort into and do a better job. That is something I truly believe. Regarding the final project, it was interesting to say the least. I liked that we were researching something meaningful, such as a nonprofit organization. We were looking into and learning more about an organization that truly helps a lot of people and makes a big difference in people’s lives. Also because of the global pandemic, it was more impressive my group was able to do the project completely remotely. It is great that we have technology available to all of us that allowed us to complete the project in an efficient manner. The final project taught me to be patient and instill trust in my members to get the job done. Being able to write about sports, and a nonprofit sports related organization was even more exciting to me. It was nice that I was paired up with a group that felt the same way. All things being considered, this blog has been fun and interesting to do. I will definitely continue talking about soccer and everything it has to offer, whether it be through here or another platform, and either now or sometime in the near future.
